Team Wildpaces go swimming - March

Brighton...the South coast...There is an amazing movement of Open water swimmers all year around away from the masses that come together for Christmas and New Year swims.
Our coldest swim recorded so far in a full wet suit was 14 Degrees Celsius done in the Hampstead Heath Lido. Now here we are attempting our first swim in the sea at around 8 Degrees. This is the start to build resistance in our body to the cold.
The Head Pain, when first getting it in, is enormous or better known as brain freeze. First time around I did not even take it further only very briefly. But we got in for a few minutes up to 10 minutes. It did feel great to have gone in.

Skin tingles, bodies shiver and the smile is wide 🌊
